Description:
This listing is for seven barrels for the High Standard Bicentennial replica of the Colt 1851 Navy revolver. Barrels are round, .36 caliber and 71/2-inches in lenght. The finish on these items is a lustrous, deep blue. The rifling on each is excellent. Barrels are in various states of condition. The worst of the set shows a peppering where the finish is missing. There are scuffs and scratches present on all – from shifting in storage; some of these marks can be polished out. None of these have ever been mounted on a completed gun. The barrel markings are not consistent: six barrels have the Liberty Bell Stamp, six have the American Bicentennial Stamp and one has the Hamden, CT address stamp. Two have front sights and five do not. There is no rust on any of these items; they do show the effects of long storage and will benefit from a thorough cleaning/polishing. These items have been listed for a friend. Note that these barrels can be returned only if delivered damaged during shipment. Shipping/insurance to the lower 48 states is included in the purchase price; additional shipping fees apply for Alaska and Hawaii. The owner is willing to sell barrels individually for $60/shipped – each. Currently seven are available.
