Description:
This is a full and sealed box, 50 original rounds, of .22 short smokeless ammunition manufactured by Remington UMC with 29 grain ungreased bullets and is an early box in the first "combined logo" series. The two piece, half-split "Smokeless Ungreased" purple fabric box is in excellent condition with very slight rub wear on the high edges. The graphics on this "14" product code, orange-yellow label with black printing and red and white logo are crisp with bright color and excellent detail. It has a batch number overprint on the top and bottom labels. Identified as Rem-2 S-5F in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference. A scarce box in seldom seen excellent sealed condition.
