Description:
A 2-barrel set consisting of a 26 inch barrel and a 28 inch barrel. Both are high quality Damascus with vivid patterning. Both forearms are checkered. Gold screws on the forearms as well. The frame is elaborately engraved by Conrad Ulrich in #15 pattern. I don't know of another Marlin shotgun done in this grade. It features an elk tossing a dog, a dog at his hind leg and another in front. There is a duck in flight on top of the bolt. Trigger guard has a Mallard. The opposite side of the frame has a stag deer running through a forest. In the scrollwork is a rabbit, a cougar and a wolf. Just a beautifully done gun. Trigger and screws are gold plated as well as border lines on the frame and hammer. Retains about 95% bright blue on the receiver. Hammer has vivid case color. Circassian Walnut of the finest quality is beautifully checkered and retains a good amount of original finish with just a few light handling mars. 13-1/2 inch LOP. All is fitted in what appears to be a factory leather case. A sensational outfit. Comes out of my personal collection where it has been for many years. This gun is excellent plus condition and all original.
