Serial number 38576. Made in 1855. 36 caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. This gun has a dark gray patina.  And shows a fair amount of wear. The trigger guard and backstrap are iron instead of the standard brass. The back strap is a replacement. Grips are good overall.
