Description:
Hammerless Sidelocks - This beautiful Royal grade the company records show having 30" barrels and as the barrels appear original it must be deduced that the barrels were cut down to 27" in its lifetime. They have no choke measuring Cyl in both barrels furthers this point.
The barrels were reproofed at 2 3/4"at a later date in London, probably when the barrels were shortened.
Having open chokes, this would make an outstanding close in bird gun for shooting over point. With modern wads Cylinder bore is capable of perfect patterns out to 25 yards and more.
