"Serial number 79991. Made in 1881. 44-40 caliber with a 30" barrel. This gun has a light gray to brown patina. This is a sharp gun with good clear markings. This is a 2nd model rifle. There is no caliber marking because the only caliber produced at that time was 44-40. The wood has been refinished. The action is missing the half cock, but holds full cock. (Consignment)
