Description:
Pristine Persian 98 Mauser made by BRNO for the Shaw of Iran. Highest quality action and requires no re-heat treating. Possibly better quality then the highly regarded Oberndorf Mausers. Don't be fooled by the middle eastern writing. This is a Chech made action by Brno.
some surface grinding and they clean up beautiful! Included with this action is a custom drop box bottom metal by James Wisner.
The barrel has been custom contoured and threaded ( for thus action) by yours truly.
Contour is approx. a # 4...25 inches in length. The caliber as planned 9.3x62.
The sights and trigger were provided by Vector.
Wonderfull setup. The "roll up" cocking piece sight is a copy of Rigby's and made with a leaf spring detent instead of the lesser quality ones with a coil spring and ball bearing. The banded front sight a Holland style by NECG.
All in all a great start to a classic AFRICAN HUNT RIFLE.
