Description:
Very nicely restocked Sako A III in 7mm Mag that has also had it's action customized. The stock was expertly done by Clint Meier of Lone Jack Missouri . The action features an Ed Lapour 3 Position safety, and a new bolt handle with panels of checkering. The body of the bolt has also been jeweled. All of the metal work was done by Dennis Olson of Plains, Montana. The scope bases are Talley. The wood speaks loudly and clearly for itself !!. The lines are clean and very modern and the wood has nice grain. The checkering is sharp and clean. Barrel is a factory Sako barrel with a perfect bore that was recontoured by Dennis. That's rust bluing too by the way, not some cheap dipping job. I do NOT believe this rifle was ever shot... based on its condition. The bolt face is clean too. If you know Sako's, you know its going to be a real shooter. This rifle comes with reloading dies and about 90 pcs of brass.
