Description:
Winchester 1895 Carbine made in 1915. Caliber is 30 40 Krag. Bore looks very good and she is a shooter.(See pic) The group was with 180 grain bullets at 50 yards.. Wood has been professionally refinished. Redfield receiver sight. Steel buttplate with trap. The wood barrel cover is included in the sale but not installed on the rifle. This was not the correct cover that came from the factory. That one would have had a hole in the center for the rear sight to fit through. If this cover is used you will have to remove the barrel band and slide it down the barrel rather than snapping it into place. It was also refinished with the rifle. All lettering is crisp and clear. Not sure if it is the origianl blueing but I think it is. 21 inch barrel. Everything locks up tight and she is fun to shoot. All questions welcome. Shipping will be flat rate of $45 to lower 48. All others ask for quote. Make sure you FFL will accept from non FFL holder. Most do with a copy of my drivers license. This will also go to a C and R.
