A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is smooth two-piece hardwood. SA Barrel dated 9-43. MW: 2, TE: 2. The rifle was manufactured in Jan 1944. This rifle has Springfield components including an un-cut Op Rod. The Garand was the service rifle of the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.
