Description:
Late 18th or early 19th century .50 cal octagon to round brass smooth bore barrel. Barrel has a defctive brass lamination in one spot. Stock appears to be English walnut with old repaired crack in butt hardly visable. All stock mounts are brass. Lock is handmade and operable with strong springs. Handmade screws have no metric threads. See photo of lock back along with stock inletting.
