Description:
M-1 Garand barrel. SA-9-44. Near new condition. Bright mirror bore with no pitting or frosting. ME=.5 TE=2.5 It appears this barrel was removed from a rifle without much, if any, firing. There is no evidence of use other than blemishes in the Parkerizing from a barrel wrench slipping. Dark blackish grey Parkerizing with a darker spot on top of the barrel throat. Not import marked. Top of barrel marked D36448-32-Y-82-D-#3 along with an ordnance stamp, and a 3 or W. Gas port is not chromed. (See pic.) Parkerizing at 99.9% with a few scuffs from the barrel wrench.
