Description:
Gun rig featuring smooth brown leather. Marked on both the belt and holster. Hermann Heiser (1836-1904) emigrated to the United States from Germany in 1854, and began making leather goods. After his death, and his sons taking over The Hermann H. Heiser Company, they became the largest manufacturer of saddlery goods in the West.  The belt on this gun rig measures approximately 41 inches end to end x 3-1/2 inches across at the widest part, and the holster measures 5-3/8 inches across at the widest part x 9-3/4 inches long. On belt is a rancher carved scene of a hunter shooting a deer, approximately 2" x 4".
