Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Description:
Here is a very cool old French Javelle Patent Pinfire revolver in 9mm Pinfire. Blued finish, saw handled walnut grip. Double action, 6-shot. Bottom of frame stamped JAVELLE M ST. ETIENNE in an arc over Bte S.G.D.G. The Javelle system operated by pushing the lever under the barrel to the right, which unclamps the barrel, allowing it to tip down so the cylinder can be removed for loading and unloading. M. Javelle worked in St. Etienne circa 1860-1880. The bore looks very good and the action functions fine. I wish I had access to 9mm pinfire ammo, I would take this little revolver to the range!
