Description:
Serial #62668, 12 Gauge (2 ¾ inch chamber), 30 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Remington Model 31 slide action shotgun manufactured in August, 1945. The immediate post WWII shotgun is in very good overall condition retaining about 80-85% of the original blue finish on the barrel and frame with scattered use marks, light scratches and some fine freckling. The pistol grip stock is solid with numerous old scratches and contusions with the grooved forearm having a small chip and crush on the lower left. Mechanically functions properly with tight lock up and smooth action. FFL or C&R
