A Civil War Colt Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver With a 6 1/2" Barrel In Fine To Excellent Condition. Serial #29,360, made in 1865. All matching numbers, all original and complete. The pistol has fine plus metal and markings throughout. It also has fine edges, and a desirable 6 1/2 inch barrel on it. The revolver retains lots of its original factory blue finish on the barrel and flutted cylinder. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retain most of their original factory case colors. All screws are fine. The original factory grips are excellent plus throughout with a wonderful color and factory finish still on them. It has a fine action and bore. This Is A Very Fine Looking Example Of A Civil War Colt Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver With a 6 1/2" Barrel Revolver That Would Be A Fine Addition To Any Collection. They Were Often carried By Officers & Soldiers On Both Sides During The War!
