Description:
An Early Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver With a 5" Barrel In Excellent Condition. Serial #127,342, made in 1861. All matching numbers, all original and complete. The pistol has excellent plus metal and markings throughout. It also has excellent edges, and a 5 inch barrel on it. The revolver retains most of its original factory blue finish on the barrel and cylinder with only light thinning in a couple of small spots. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retain nearly all of their original bright factory case colors. All screws are excellent and retain their bright fire blue. The backstrap and trigger guard are excellent plus and retain all of their original factory silver. The original factory grips are excellent plus throughout with a wonderful color and factory finish still on them. It has an excellent action and bore. This Is A Very High Condition Example Of A Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver With a 5" Barrel. It Would Be A Great Addition To Any Fine Colt Or Civil War Collection!
