Description:
A Very Scarce, Early and Unusual Left Handed Large Revolutionary War Germanic Flintlock Pistol Circa 1760's in Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The early pistol has fine unouched metal throughout. It is proof marked on the barrel. All of the metal on the pistol has a wonderful and untouched darkened natural patina on it. All of the parts on the lock are also original and untouched. It is in its original flintlock configuration. It has wonderful & untouched brass hardware all throughout it with all parts having a natural darkening mellow color to them. The very early raised and incise carved wood is fine throughout with no breaks or cracks in it. The pistol has a fine action and has a 3/4 inch bore in it. The fine pistol measures 18 inches long and has a barrel length of 10 3/4 inches. This Is a Very Untouched Example Of A Very Scarce & Early Large Revolutionary War Germanic Flintlock Pistol Circa 1760's in Fine Condition.
