Vintage classic Winchester Model 1885 High Wall single shot Sporting Rifle. Serial number 113162, manufactured ca 1915. Takedown. 26" Heavy No.4 Round Barrel. Barrel is fitted with Scope Blocks with no provision for barrel mounted sights(No dovetails ever cut). Winchester Proof Mark is correctly applied forward of the rear scope block. Plain Trigger. Caliber 22LR. 13 1/2" length of pull to original metal semi-crescent Musket style butt plate. Factory installed sling swivel in the stock, forend is inletted for palm rest. Fine overall condition with very nice blue aging to mellow aged patina. Nice and tight action. Excellent bright and shiny bore with sharp, crisp rifling. No rust, pitting or frosting. Very rare and desirable High Wall with Heavy No.4 barrel inTakedown 22LR. Copy of FFL or C&R license required prior to shipping. Winning pays $60.00 for shipping to the lower 48.
