THERE WERE 1000 LUGERS DELIVERED TO U.S. MILITARY FOR TESTING IN 1900 IN SERIAL RANGE STARTING FROM 6,009. THIS LUGER HAS SERIAL NUMBER 6,020. MOST OF THESE GUNS WERE WORN OUT, BUT THIS ONE FOR SOME REASON SURVIVED IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION INCLUDING MAGAZINE WITH THE FLAMING BOMB STAMP ON THE WOODEN BOTTOM. tHIS IS HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE LUGER, AND IT SHOULD BY AS #1 DISIRABLE IN THE COLLECTIONS OF LUGERS.
