One solid piece rail, the MRP(Monolithic Rail Platform) allows uninterrupted real estate for mounting optics, etc. Quick change barrel system requires loosening two bolts, and the barrel can be removed. This particular version, the MRP has the extended fore end rail that covers the gas block. These rifles have been very hard to get, and I just received this one. Took it out of the box, took pics, and put it back in its shipping box.
