For consideration is a nice Kimber Pro Carry SLE 1911 in .45 ACP. PRO CARRY SLE (2000): 1329 produced. Stainless Limited Edition. First all stainless slide and frame 4” barrel Pro Carry. Identical to Stainless Pro Carry except stainless frame. Produced at the request of Kimber Master Dealers, the pistol went into the catalog for 2001 and subsequent production as the Pro Carry HD. Having made just a few of this model makes them hard to find. This particular example is in very good mechanical and physical condition exhibiting a few handling and use marks but nothing serious. The barrel has a good bore and strong rifling. The slide has fixed tritium night sights but the tritium has expired. Slide to frame fit is tight. The checkered rubber grips do not appear to be original. Box and one Wilson Combat magazine are included. This fine Kimber would make a great range gun or with the shorter barrel possibly a concealed carry pistol.
