Description:
This Colt started out as a 4 3/4 " blue , 38/40 . Shipped to Littlerock Ak. Sept. 6, 1900 per- Colt letter.
Don't have the complete story why. It was sent back to Colt and redone into a 7 1/2' full Nickel w/ real Ivory grips.
The grips have aged nicely. The gun looks as if had not been fired since redone.
Look in photos on trigger guard see (&) mark to prove Colt did the work around the 1930s.
Several members of the Colt Collectors Assoc. looked at this gun, and all said to me only Colt could have done that nice of work.
They all agreed it was properly marked for the time period.
I am asking $8450.00, for this SAA. I just dropped the price to $7500.00 OBO. I am making one last drop. Firm 6000.00
It has been in my collection for over 20 years.
