Savage model 430 are a little on the scarse side but in 20 ga they are fewer still. This particular piece has seen some use for sure. It still functions properly and is a nice 'carry' in the woods. There is a crack in the forearm and a reinforcement dowel in the wrist which I have tried to show in the photos. The barrels have a 'mist' tarnish on them that I believe will clean up nicely. Bores are smooth and shiny. Not sure of the choke on this piece but they were usually full and modified or modified and improved. Fun old gun and a piece of Savage firearm history.
