Description: F Recived for Consingment.  Interesting Mauser rifle purchased by Brazil and top of receiver is marked " P D P F"  (Force Republic du District Federal) indicating a rifle purchased for the Brazilian police forces.  Firearm was built by Deutsche Waffen-Und Munitionsfbriken Berlin (see photos).  Not sure of the caliber, probably 7mm x57mm.  But I would definitely have a gunsmith check the chamber.  Left side of receiver has the Brazlian proofmark.  It appears this rifle has been modifed, as it has a bent bolt handle, and a Chrome Plated barrel band.  Maybe built for a parade or presentation rifle.  Barrel is 20" and a 1904/39 style carbine stock.  Bluing is a deep blue and in very good condition.  Stock has marks typical for a rifle ths old, Used Leather sling is included.  Action is tight and everything works.
