This Winchester was produced in 1947. The rifle's serial number is 75558. This rifle has the octagonal barrel chambered for the 22 Short only. The bore is bright with sharp lands. The loading port is cut out for the 22 Short cartridge only. The sights are original to this gun. This rifle has seen some light use and wear. This gun has been well cared for throughout the years. The only real wear is where the pump handle is operated. The original bluing would rate a 96% or better condition. The stock and forend have no cracks or other damage. The wood retains all of the original finish. The action works smoothly with no issues. This is a very nice clean condition Model 61 with the highly collectable octagonal barrel. Being a 22 Short and the condition adds to the appeal of this rifle!
