Description:
This Colt was produced in 1922. The pistol's serial number is 478907. This Colt is fitted with a 5 inch barrel chambered for the 38 Special cartridge. The bore and chambers are in bright minty condition. This Colt shows very little sign of being fired. The action locks up tight. The trigger pull is smooth and with a crisp release. The original bluing has some light speckling in spots. The bluing is bright with a high polish finish. The bluing would rate a 97% condition. The original hard rubber grips are in like new condition with no chips or flattened checkering points. This is a very nice early Colt Army Special. This model eventually became the Official Police Model. This Model frame was one of Colt's best selling pistols! Here is one of the nice early models that would be great in any collection!
