Serial #278877, .22 S,L,LR, 24 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Winchester Model 61 Slide Action, take down, rifle manufactured in 1960. In excellent condition the barrel, frame and magazine tube retain about 90-95% of the original blue finish with scattered areas of finish loss, silvering on high edges and some light scratches and use marks. The stock and forearm are in excellent condition with a later added linseed oil finish with original butt plate intact. The action functions properly with a smooth slide and crisp trigger. A very attractive Model 61. FFL or C&R
