Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 Short caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Original sights include a Lyman blade front and sporting rear with a folding tang sight. Barrel and magazine tube have 95% bright blue remaining. Receiver has most thinning blue with spots of corrosion along the left side and bottom of frame. Walnut straight grip stock and grooved forearm have a few light handling mars and retains most original varnish. Right side of the stock has 2 small holes in it. Traces of case colors on the hammer and rifle style buttplate. Nice clean little gun. Second Model Takedown frame made in 1903.
