Rare J Steven's Walnut Hill model 417 22lr S#478 with amazing older JW Fecker scope s#7229. I do not know much about older guns in general but this match type single shot rifle appears to be in very good condition for its age. It is missing 3 screws on the left side of the receiver. Possibly from a Lyman peep site. It is also missing two apparent set screws on the top of the rear tang. It is missing the front sight and the butt plate. There is a hole in the top of the stock. It looks like it was drilled. It also has a grove in the bottom of the forearm. These are hard to find rifles and I am told they are extremely accurate due to the heavy bull type barrel.
