Built on the square butt K target frame, this piece has a six round fluted counterbored cylinder, a 5⅞ inch 10-groove full rib barrel, a fixed 10-grooved ramp blade front sight, square notch micrometer click adjustable rear sight, a wide serrated target case color hardened trigger, a wide checkered case color hardened target hammer, an overall length of 11¼ inches, a textured knob ejector rod, a 10-groove front strap and back strap, and diamond checkered target gold S&W emblem wood stocks. The bluing is in very good condition, with only minimally noticeable loss and only very light handling wear. The Smith & Wesson Gold emblem wood stocks are in very good to excellent condition, with no discernable chips, cracks, or scratches. Known as the K-22 Masterpiece, this revolver is known for its excellent accuracy. This -4 model incorporates a change by moving the gas ring to the cylinder. The gas ring move helps reduce cylinder bind compared to the older K-22's. This piece does not have a pinned barrel.
