Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 Short with an excellent bore. Bright and shiny with strong rifling. Barrel shows most original blue starting to brown with a little scattered light freckling. Magazine tube finish is thinning to brown with blue in protected areas. Receiver retains a fair amount of blue starting to turn brown with some wear and light handling marks with minor freckling. Has British proof marks on the barrel and adjacent on receiver. Stocks retain most of their original finish with scratches and light handling marks. Matching serial numbers front and back. British proofs are seldom seen on these 1890's.
