This Winchester was produced in 1938. The rifle's serial number is 35594. This rifle has the highly sought for octagonal barrel chambered for the 22 W.R.F. cartridge. The bore is in fine condition with no pitting or other issues. This rifle also has the small forend. This was the last year for these small forends. This rifle has seen use and field wear. The action works fine with no issues. The sights are original to this Winchester. The take down feature is tight with no play. The original bluing would rate a 85% overall condition. The wood finish would also rate about the same on this gun. There is no cracks or wood damage to the stock or forend. This is a very nice honest used Winchester in the highly collectable 22 W.R.F. cartridge.
