Synopsis: Walther P38, Mod HP, 12546, FB00750 Description: Walther P38 Mod HP caliber 9mmP, with high polish finish, reworked barrel and added electropenciled SN to right side of slide. Standard configuration Model HP with a 5” barrel having a drift adjustable front sight and “U” notch rear sight. Left side of slide marked with Walther banner followed by two line address that includes caliber, suffixed by “Mod HP”. Usual safety markings. Right side of slide with Eagle/N and Walther E/359. Full serial number on right side of frame, repeated under barrel, on right slide rail, and last three digits on locking block. Full serial number later marked with electropencil on the right side of slide. Fitted with chocolate brown phenolic grips. Left side of magazine marked “P.38”. Condition: VG+ with barrel having been reworked, the upper surface with numerous shallow scuffs and mars now under the blue. The electropenciled number well photographed. The balance of the pistol with minimal sharp edge wear and scattered light dings and superficial scuffs as one might expect from a gun that seen light/moderate use. Mirror bright bore.
