Synopsis: Mauser, P38, German Military WWII, 8783q, FB0051 Description: Standard configuration Mauser P38, 9mmP, with 5 inch barrel having drift adjustable front sight and U notched rear sight. Slide marked P.38 followed by “byf/44” and serial number. Usual safety markings. Right side of slide with inspection markings. “9mmPara” marked under barrel. All matching with full serial number on frame, slide, barrel and last 3 digits on locking block. Fitted with brown phenolic grips and “P.38” ac surcharged magazine. Condition: VG+ original finish with sharp edge in usual places, thinning of frontstrap. Comparable condition grips. Mirror bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
