Description:
UPDATE, 5/2/2024: The gun is still available.

I have found an extra hard case and because the gun is so nice, I prefer to ship it in a hard case for the best protection.  This will be of no extra cost to the buyer.

Also, USPS ships by "Zones."  I would say, for the middle zones from Ohio, shipping and insurance would run about $75-80 or so.

On the left side of the barrel, there appear to be different letters and numbers.  I don't know a whole lot about this gun.  I know that Remington has used date codes for years, so here is what I can see.

Going from the front grouping to the rear, from left to right:

The first are: CH3 M
The second are: A "W"  with what appears to be two tiny horozontal lines through the middle of the "W", and then C8
The two numbers are 83.

Hope this helps.

For sale is an excellent Remington 700 BDL complete with scope.  This is in the wonderful 7mm-08 Remington caliber.  The caliber is accurate, light recoiling, and makes for a wonderful hunting rifle.

The gun has a 22" barrel.  It is equipped with Weaver bases, Burris rings, and a great Redfield 4x scope.  The bolt is factory jeweled, and it cycles as smooth as glass.  The scope is clear and has a post and crosshair reticle.

The original sight holes have filled screws in them, but, I also have the original sights which came with the gun, and they are included as well.

Please note: At the bottom of the floorplate (where the hinge is) there are two very small marks where the bluing has come off.  I was going to touch these up but decided against it, because all the other bluing was in such good shape.  The gun has not been altered or touched up anywhere--it is in all original condition.

Take a good look at the pictures, as they are probably the best descriptor that I could use to identify the condition of the gun.

Shipping and Insurance are additional.

If you have any questions, call or email me.

Thank you.
