Somewhat scarce 3" Colt Detective Special with serial number matching original box dating production to 1963. This revolver remains in very high condition with no detractions. The original blue finish still retains a deep shine over the entire frame. Overall the finish rates 99%. The cylinder face, recoil shield, and forcing cone are very clean with virtually no discernable turn line on the cylinder itself. The action is crisp with tight lock up, and the bore is clean with strong lands/grooves. The factory walnut grips are exceptional. Original "Handling the Hangun" brochure included in the box.
