Synopsis: German DWM, 1917 Artillery Luger, Military, WW1, 7891a, FB00768 Description: Standard configuration DWM Artillery Luger from WW1, made 1917, with fine tune front and rear sights. Chamber dated 1917 with intertwined DWM on front toogle link. Usual proofs on right side of barrel extention. Full serial number with letter suffix on forward frame and under barrel with serial number on left side of barrel extention. Last two digits on most small parts, unnumbered sideplate, hold open, and the reproduction grips. Magazine plug has been renumbered “8903”. Condition: Somewhere between horrible and dug up. This is one of those guns that we were forced to take in on consignment and would not normally touch except to kick out of the way. Polished over pitting then reblued and distressed. Crummy reproduction grips. Buggered grip screws and miserable magazine with altered follower button and repinned, broken/glued and renumbered base. Dark bore with easily discernable rifling.
