Here’s an example of an earlier Factory Engraved Colt Model 1851 Navy. This example has a bit of a more deluxe engraving than standard. The work appears to be by Gustave Young. This example has what appears to be its original factory ivory grip. The grip has some repairs that can be seen in photos. Cylinder scene is visible. This example has a nice patina finish throughout. The front sight has a period replacement. Mechanically works well. This is a good Navy for the price! Shipping is $30 plus actual insurance cost.
