Description:
Serial #114004, .22 S,L,LR, 24 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Winchester Model 61 slide action take down rifle manufactured by Winchester in 1948. The barrel, frame and magazine tube retain about 85-90% original blue with with a scratch on the barrel top near the breech and some light impact marks on the receiver top just under the forward scope mount. The stock and forearm are solid with light wear and use marks showing some scratches on the underside near the toe. The receiver has a side mounted scope bracket attached with two screws. It is equipped with the original adjustable rear sight and metal bead front along with the Weaver Model 29S adjustable scope with cross hair optics that are clear. A very nice Winchester 61 that is all set up to shoot. FFL or C&R
