U.S.A.” with a Rampant Colt logo behind the slide serrations. The right of the slide is marked “MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY”. The right of the frame is marked with the serial number. The left of the frame is marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” on the dust cover and “JM” circled in “G” above the magazine release after inspector J.M. Gilbert Lt.Col., USA Colt Revolvers and M1911 .45 Pistols 1917-1918. The top of the chamber is marked “P” and “H”, the right side is marked “-COLT 45 AUTO-”.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish and appears unfired.
