Description:
9 shot revolver with a 6 inch round 20 Gauge shotgun barrel that has a very good bore and a 4-1/2 inch octagon rifled barrel chambered in 44 CF caliber also with a very good bore and strong rifling. Overall metal is semi-bright with some mild pitting in several areas. May have left in the white or it was cleaned at one time. Has a lanyard loop at the bottom in front of the trigger guard. Original wood grips show use but still in good condition. Screwdriver in butt. Gun is in the 150 serial range. Nice functioning action. The Model 1869 is a post Civil War redesigned LeMat that uses cartridges and is far rarer than the original percussion version. Quite scarce.
