Description:
Excellent condition, very accurate, single shot, 25 inch barrel, sling swivels, matching numbers, excellent bore, very smooth action and trigger pull, adjustable rear ramp sight and blade front sight.
The barrel has screw holes ten inches from the bore for mounting a long eye relief scope. Included with the rifle is a Burris 1 1/2 X 4 variable poiwer Long Eye Relief scope. The scope is Gloss Black with rings in excellent condition. The scope was not mounted on the Husqvarna Rifle.
The heavy barrel is rare. Very few Husqvarna .22 Rifles were made with heavy barrels. The extended fold over bolt handle is rare.
Husqvarna Fapenfabrik was a Swedish firearms manufacturing company in the town of Husqvarna by lake Vattern. The Company was founded in 1689. Husqvarna stopped making rifles in the late 1960's and sold this business to Carl Gustaf in Eskkilstuna.
The Tiger Stripe Stock is in very good condition with a number of shallow dents on a hard gloss surface. The pistol grip and forend are checkered.
