This Winchester M-70 was mfg abt 1949, Cal 30.06, Ser # 99XXX. Very fine overall w/original finish,
some very light handling marks. Mechaniclly excellent. Barrel is a 24 inch w/"Mint" bore that measures "0".
Excellent choice for both as a"Shooter" and collector's piece. No cracks or heavy abuse. Appears to
have been fired very litle w/tight bolt action and Bright rifling.
I don'r see many M-70's that are both 75years of age and in this nice a condition. It's had good maintenance.
