The metric designation for 22 Winchester center fire, a 5-shot detachable magazine and 22.5" barrel, a two leaf rear sight and ramp front sight, serial #16XXX and all parts matching numbers, made with krupp steel in April of 1930, swivels and a cheekpiece for the right-hand shooter, the receiver and magazine are both stamped Zi-Di, cal 5.6x35 and D.R.G.M., the name Diem is on the buttplate, excellent bore and all original, possibly unfired, 98% blue and wood varnish, a fine example of a Zi-Di firearm, produced jointly by Alfred Ziegenhahn and Gustoff Diem in Benshausen Germany
