The DWM Swiss Luger Model 1906 was manufactured by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) in Berlin. It was specifically produced for the Swiss Police. It is chambered in 30 Luger (7.65mm) with a barrel length of 4.75-inch. The top of the chamber bears the Swiss Cross in a Shield and the rear toggle displays the DWM monogram. It is fitted with a grip safety. Unlike some other Lugers, the Swiss version lacks a stock lug. The toggles are flat in design. This Luger is in excellent original condition, retaining 95% original blue, with most loss due to high edge wear. The grips fit very well and are in excellent condition, with only minor wear on the botom of the grips. The bore looks as new and the action functions the same. A very nice example of its type.
