Proved for 2-3/4" cartridges and choked modified & improved modified. The right barrel is roll marked: 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND' while the left barrel is roll marked: '33, BRUTON STREET, LONDON.' The coin finished action body and lockplates are engraved in the old style Holland & Holland 'Royal Scroll'. Both lockplates are engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND in arched banners and 'ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR' on bottom of the action body. Gold-inlaid number '2' upon the top lever and rib near breech. The number '2' is engraved on the interior metal of the fore-end. The action is fit with gold-lined cocking indicators, a blacked engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The smooth, double triggers are protected by a blacked, engraved, right side rolled trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with the gun's serial number.
