Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with full length magazine tube. Bore has scattered roughness but shows good riffling. Original sporting sights with a replaced elevator on the rear. Barrel and mag tube finish is mostly a brown patina. First Model receiver with a replacement thumb print dust cover is also a mostly brown color as well. Walnut stocks have a worn appearance but look good. Forearm has a little extra figure. Buttstock has an added wood repair at the left by the upper tang. Crescent rifle style buttplate. 19k serial number made in 1876.
