Description:
An Early & Rare Civil War Colt Model 1849 Wells Fargo Percussion Revolver In Its Original Case With Accessories All In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Only about 4,000 produced by Colt. Serial # 117,326, all matching numbers and made in 1856. The revolver has very nice metal and markings throughout with very good edges. It has a fine cylinder scene on it all around. It has the correct 3 inch barrel on it and no loading lever. The entire gun has an even any natural dark brown patina throughout it. All screws are nice throughout. The brass backstrap and trigger guard have a wonderful untouched patina on them. The grips are fine throughout with a nice color to them. The revolver has a very good action and bore.
The original case and accessories are fine and untouched, The case has its original burgundy lining inside it. All the partitions are original. It has its original flask, and rare brass plunger tool inside it. The outside of the box is excellent throughout and has a fine finish on it with no warping on the lid.
This Is An Early & Rare Civil War Colt Model 1849 Wells Fargo Percussion Revolver In Its Original Case With Accessories All In Very Nice Untouched Condition. This Is A Very Difficult Colt Set To Find!
