Description:
A Civil War Colt Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver With A 4 1/2 Inch Barrel In Fine Condition. Serial # 30,461, all matching numbers and made in 1865. The revolver has fine metal and markings throughout with very good edges. It has a flutted cylinder on it. The barrel on the gun retains most of its original factory blue on it. The fluted cylinder has a mix of original blue mixing with a natural patina showing in spots. The frame & loading lever show fine case colors which are thinning in spots. All screws are fine throughout with original blue on them. The brass backstrap and trigger guard have a wonderful untouched patina on both of them. The grips are fine throughout with a nice grain & color to them. The revolver has a very good action and bore.
